The 39th Joint Planning Law Conference

16th - 18th September 2011, New College and the Oxford Union

The Oxford Conference is regularly fully booked and has become something of an institution. Jointly organised by the Law Society, the Bar Council, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Royal Town Planning Institute, it is attended by 200 practitioners from the four professions who specialise in town and country planning.

The mix of speakers, delegates, committee members and official guests ensures this is a unique opportunity to discuss the burning issues currently engaging the professions with the leading practitioners of the day. The papers presented are recognised and used by delegates as seminal works in the field. As a result of popular demand this year's conference will include a debate in the Oxford Union debating chamber.

There is also an opportunity for delegates from all four professions, to mingle and continue the debates at social receptions and over formal dinners in the New College Dining Hall.

The conference is a not-for-profit conference and committee members give up their time freely to organise the event. We look forward to welcoming you at the event.

Early-bird conference fee available - book early to avoid disappointment
